Drake had a busy week, unveiling the name of his next album and being nominated for this year’s Polaris Music Prize. But he also had to deal with another online rap beef: Rappin’ 4-Tay has accused Drake’s OVO label of plagiarizing lyrics from Rappin’ 4-Tay’s 1994 single ‘Playaz Club’ when writing their verse for YG’s track ‘Who Do You Love’ by OVO rapper. According to reports by TMZ, however, the conflict appears to have been resolved: his label disbursed $100,000 to Rappin 4-Tay for his words on YG’s track ‘Who Do You Love’ by OVO rapper OVO rapper Drake has since paid his label out to Rappin 4-Tay for his lyrics on YG’s track ‘Who Do You Love’ by paying out $100k to 4-Tay.
